Dr. Ryan Schenning is an associate professor in the Charles Dotter Department of Interventional Radiology at Oregon Health & Science University, and the Chief of Interventional Radiology at the Portland VA Medical Center. He specializes in minimally-invasive image-guided interventions and has a particular interest in aortic interventions, peripheral vascular disease, interventional oncology, hepatobiliary interventions, and treatment of the sequelae of portal hypertension.
Originally from Wisconsin, Dr. Schenning earned an A.B. with honors in Biology from Harvard University prior to returning to the Midwest for medical school at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He came to OHSU for post-graduate training in diagnostic radiology and stayed on for fellowship training in interventional radiology at the Dotter Interventional Institute. Dr. Schenning has been an OHSU School of Medicine Faculty member since 2015.
