Manj Gohel started his post as a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon in Cambridge University Hospitals in 2012. He has had a strong academic and clinical interest in the management of venous ulceration and complex venous disease since 2002. He was an investigator in the landmark ESCHAR and EVRA venous ulcer trials, and is a Global PI for the VenaSeal Spectrum program.
He has supervised several BSc, MD and PhD students. He is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London and holds and Affiliated Assistant Professor role at the University of Cambridge. His main clinical interests are complex venous disease, including novel superficial venous interventions and the management of venous outflow obstruction. He is also focussed on improving care pathways, particularly for patients with advanced venous disease and ulceration.
