Nikki Keefe, MD, is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is the Program Director for the integrated and independent interventional radiology residencies as well as the interventional oncology fellowship at UNC. She trained at the University of Virginia and briefly worked in private practice before joining faculty at UNC. She specializes in complex venous disease including central venous reconstruction and complex IVC filter retrieval. Additionally, she focuses on women's health, vertebral augmentation, and endoleaks. Her research interests primarily focus on pelvic venous disease and the treatment of painful spinal metastases with the use of local ablative therapies.
