    Dr. Yana Etkin is board certified vascular surgeon. She serves as the Associate Chief of Vascular Surgery and a Program Director for a Vascular Surgery Residency. She is an Associate Professor of Surgery at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/ Northwell.
    Dr. Etkin received her medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. She completed a residency in General Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center and a fellowship in Vascular Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

    Dr. Etkin is a director for the Vascular Surgery Board of the American Board of Surgery and an active member of numerous committees in regional and national societies.

    She maintains a busy clinical practice with special expertise in aortic surgery, venous pathology, critical limb ischemia, and dialysis access. Dr. Etkin also runs an active clinical research program focused on novel vascular surgical techniques and patient outcomes. She has authored over 40 peer-reviewed articles and several book chapters. Dr. Etkin has been an invited speaker and has led workshops/ courses at more than 50 regional, national and international programs.
