Brian G. DeRubertis, MD is the Chief of the Division of Vascular & Endovascular Surgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical School in New York City and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. After earning his medical degree, residency, and fellowship training at Weill Cornell Medical College and Columbia University training programs, he earned the rank of Professor of Surgery in the UCLA Division of Vascular Surgery before returning to New York.
His clinical interests include open and endovascular management of complex aortic aneurysms, lower extremity arterial occlusive disease, carotid artery disease and deep venous disease.
Dr. DeRubertis has participated in 20+ clinical research studies, including roles as National PI in the REALITY Trial and the LIFE-BTK Trial. He has published 70+ articles in peer-reviewed journals, and more than 25 book chapters and other publications. He has presented his own research and given invited presentations at regional, national and international academic conferences, including SVS, NEVS, WVS, VERVE, VEITH, TCT, LINC, and VIVA, delivering over 300 presentations.
