Dr. Carr is an Interventional Cardiologist and Endovascular Specialist. He is the Founding President of the Outpatient Endovascular and Interventional Society, a multispecialty medical society that promotes appropriate use, safety and outcomes measures in freestanding cardiovascular centers. He is the physician lead on the Cardiovascular Coalition, which raises awareness for vascular disease and advocates for national healthcare policy and amputation prevention. He has met with CMS policy makers and multiple congressional leaders advocating for patient access to care. He is Founder and Director of the Vein Center of East Texas. He lectures nationally and internationally on chronic vein and comprehensive lower extremity vascular care. His practice site is a Center of Excellence for live case preceptorships and training for arterial and venous interventions.
