Teresa Carman is the Director of Vascular Medicine at University Hospitals Case Medical Center and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She attended medical school at Ohio State University. She trained in Internal Medicine at Mayo Clinic Jacksonville and Cleveland Clinic Florida. She completed fellowships in Vascular Medicine and Clinical Thrombosis at Cleveland Clinic. Along with a busy clinical practice she is active in resident and fellow education.
Dr. Carman’s research interests parallel her training in clinical thrombosis, vascular ultrasound and arterial vascular disease. Her research has been presented at national and international meetings. She has published clinical manuscripts in numerous peer-reviewed journals. vice-chair for the APCA counsel. She is also a Director on the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine.
