Andrea Obi, MD

Dr. Obi is an Associate Professor of Vascular Surgery at the University of Michigan and the Ann Arbor VA. She completed a dual undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan honors college in Microbiology and English literature in 2003 and went on to pursue an MD at Loyola Stritch School of Medicine. She returned to the University of Michigan for general surgery residency and vascular surgery fellowship, completing a 2 year research fellowship at the Jobst Vascular Research Laboratories funded by an NIH T32 Vascular Biology grant. She currently runs a translational laboratory at the University of Michigan studying pharmacologic targets and devices for DVT interventions.
